Private ADHD Titration There is currently a national shortage of medication to treat ADHD symptoms. This is due both to manufacturing problems and an increased demand in the world. Titration A thorough assessment of your ADHD symptoms will be conducted by a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist. It is essential that parents participate in the titration process and be aware of their child's behavior so that they can inform doctors whether the medication is working or causing adverse reactions. If you decide to return to NHS treatment you will be issued an individual prescription for your medication. You will have to pay at the pharmacy. This is not included in the consultation cost. You'll need to keep up with your appointments every six months to monitor your medication. This includes blood pressure and pulse measurements. Annual reviews are also required. Follow-up appointments Once the assessment is completed and you are satisfied, you can schedule appointment with the psychiatrist.
